European Investment Fund (część Europejskiego Banku Inwestycyjnego) przeznaczy 500 mln złotych na zarządzanie nowym funduszem "Future Tech Poland", działającym w ramach programu Innovate Poland. Fundusz Future Tech Poland ma osiagnąć wielkość 1,5 mld zł (500 mln zł od EIF + 1 mld zł od Banku Gospodarstwa Krajowego). Celem programu jest wzmocnienie polskiego rynku VC i umożliwienie finansowania startupów o wysokim potencjale wzrostu.

Dzięki pozyskanemu kapitałowi firma planuje ekspansję na rynki europejskie oraz rozwój warstwy technologicznej - Al + telemedycyna.

Program Poland Prize, prowadzony przez IDEA Global Acceleratory, to ścieżka akceleracyjna skierowana do zagranicznych startupów, które planują wejście na rynek polski. Oferuje ona grant bez udziału kapitałowego („equity-free”) w wysokości do 400 tys. złotych, a także wsparcie w postaci soft-landing-u, dostępu do mentora, konsultacji oraz sieci kontaktów. Startupy muszą spełniać określone kryteria: działać poza Polską, mieć technologię na poziomie TRL 9, być skalowalne i gotowe znacząco zaadaptować się do polskiego rynku. Premiowane są projekty, które mają już komercyjną implementację u siebie w kraju i chcą rozwijać sprzedaż w Polsce. Rekrutacja trwa do 31 grudnia 2025.

This is a sign that building a global technology company from Europe is becoming attractive, which may translate into increased competitiveness in the region among talent and investors.

The European Investment Fund (part of the European Investment Bank) will allocate PLN 500 million to manage the new ‘Future Tech Poland’ fund, operating under the Innovate Poland programme. The Future Tech Poland fund is expected to reach PLN 1.5 billion (PLN 500 million from the EIF + PLN 1 billion from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego). The aim of the programme is to strengthen the Polish VC market and enable the financing of start-ups with high growth potential.

Synerise, a Polish technology company creating an enterprise-grade data platform based on artificial intelligence (AI) and business intelligence systems, is receiving a €25 million loan from the EIB under the TechEU programme. These are venture debt funds allocated to research and development (R&D) and the company's international expansion.

Polish med-tech start-up Holi, which specialises in treating obesity using a mobile app that connects doctors, psychodieticians, psychologists and physiotherapists and provides access to therapy and medications (such as GLP-1), has raised €3 million in a seed funding round. With the capital raised, the company plans to expand into European markets and develop its technological layer - AI + telemedicine.

The Poland Prize programme, run by IDEA Global Acceleratory, is an acceleration path aimed at foreign start-ups planning to enter the Polish market. It offers an equity-free grant of up to PLN 400,000, as well as support in the form of soft landing, access to a mentor, consultations and a network of contacts. Start-ups must meet certain criteria: operate outside Poland, have TRL 9 technology, be scalable and ready to adapt significantly to the Polish market. Projects that already have commercial implementation in their home country and want to develop sales in Poland are rewarded. Recruitment is open until 31 December 2025.

PhysicsX, a London-based start-up developing ‘physical AI’ for designing and testing engineering products, has secured additional funding in a Series B round, increasing it to €133 million and bringing the company's valuation closer to unicorn status. The round included participation from NVentures, NVIDIA's investment fund. The company accelerates R&D processes in industries such as automotive, energy and semiconductors by replacing traditional simulations with advanced AI models.
